Commissioners,
I sympathize with your situation regarding the subject development. I do wish to go on the record as a concerned citizen regarding what is happening with the development and information
coming for some of you. If the developer is in continuing negotiations with the county attorney and changes are being made with some frequency then the public has a right to know what,
when and how these changes may occur. It is patently unfair for any of the interested parties to be “surprised” at your meeting on Monday with revisions that could impact your vote.
As publicly propose the development requires you to waive a number of elements of the county code. In addition the proposal requires you to provide county land to a developer without
compensation. This combination makes the current publicly revealed development untenable for local residents and county citizens.
I ask you to consider some review of any changes than may be revealed at the public meeting and if the current plan is considered to reject.
Regards,
Mike Lyster
