As a long time part time resident of Bay Colony in Pelican Bay, I’m so totally against this huge Concrete Jungle project, it’s proposed in a very small corner, which really doesn’t make
sense in this very quiet spot, for the residents that are immediately impacted.
Vanderbilt drive is only one way each way, east one way, west the same.
Traffic is unbearably in season, as all surrounding inland areas try to use our public beach area by the Ritz.
Can’t stop anyone from using the beach, it’s a beautiful place, we are all so very fortunate to be able to own a hone in Naples. I’m not opposed to development, only a large concrete
jungle in this area.
If you haven’t been to our area, it’s worth a drive to see where stock wants to squeeze this massive project in. Just say no to this huge project if you can, make it a smaller project,
retail in bottom, with two floors or residential on top would be more like it and is more suitable in this corner. Just so massive, I can’t believe it! Project is right on the sidewalk
practically. No room ever to even widening rd ever or add a bigger bike lane for people wanting to ride to beach or rollerblade, even our sidewalks are inadequate, very tight.
I’ll buy you lunch!
Thanks, Penny, have a wonderful day in our beloved Naples!
Fondly,
Angela Haryott
