Dear Commissioner Rick LoCastro; Thank you for the work you have done in the past for our community. We know you have a very challenging job and have encountered many difficult resolutions. The proposed One Naples project is a potential disaster waiting to happen. Your conclusion regarding One Naples should be straight forward considering all the facts including precedents, strict enforcement of well thought out building codes, plus protecting the environment, quality of life for your constituents and the citizens in the surrounding developments. The latest rumor is a payoff by Stock of $300,000 to $400,000 to one of the neighboring developments if they agree to support the One Naples project. In my business career we commonly referred to such action as pure BRIBERY and such offers may be extended to other groups. Some have inferred it may even be offered to County Officials. What has this community come to in this crazy political environment? We know we can trust the County Commissioners and implore you to use proper judgement in this proposal. We are opposed to Stock Developmentā€™s One Naples high-rise project because it fundamentally disregards the Collier County Growth Management Plan (GMP) and Land Development Code which residents and neighborhoods rely on to protect our environment, quality of life and home investment. We are asking you, as a responsible County Commissioner, to DENY the proposed GMP amendment. Sincerely, Robert & Sue Massey 10620 Gulf Shore Drive
