Prior to becoming a resident of Florida, I was a long time member and chairman of Whitpain Township Planning Commision, a desirable residential community in the suburbs of Philadelphia. It is astounding to me that the proposal for One Naples is even being discussed. Whitpain Township was a very desirable community because we enforced our zoning laws ( that's why they were enacted ). It was highly unusual for any variances or other uses to make it past the discussion phase. If One Naples is so radically different than the zoning and if there is so much opposition to it, why has it made it this far. The Naples City Council was voted out because they gave every developer a variance for everything. Developers come, make their money , and go. we are stuck with these headaches for a lifetime. Sincerely, Frank Osinski
