Dear Sirs and/or Madams
We write this communication in strong support for the Heritage Bay PUD
Amendment.
We have been owners in The Quarry since 2011 and have watched this area in our
full time Paradise explode with development. While we all know that development
is not all bad, our roads have gotten so busy and even dangerous. It is imperative
that our private road remain private for the safety of all of our homeowners that
bike, walk, and drive on Limestone Trail daily.
The ability to install gates on our privately owned Limestone Trail is
consistent with the development of The Quarry & Heritage Bay and the
approval/installation of gates on other private roads in the two communities. The
cost to our Quarry Community Association (QCA) to maintain and repair
Limestone Trail issues caused by significant increased traffic could be drastic and
decrease our property values with these increased costs.
In addition, Limestone Trail is located very close to our main gate to The Quarry.
There are various times of the day that traffic is backed up at our Main Gate waiting
for approval to enter our community thus blocking the entrance to Limestone Trail.
Rear ending vehicles and causing traffic delays is a distinct possibility.
We respectfully ask you to approve this PUD amendment. Thank you for your time
and dedication to keeping Collier County the best & safest place for all of us to call,
"home."
Respectfully submitted
