I reside within 100ft of the subject for debate identified above and support the pending PUD amendment for Heritage Bay PUD. I have resided at The Quarry for several years and would not have purchased my property had the current access roadbeen then a public throughway. The ability to preserve the property values and rights to quality of life by protectingthis access road for the residents of The Quarry and Heritage Bay should beparamount. Allowing for this protection does not hinder emergency vehicle access or evacuation routes in the case of emergencies. Limestone Trail was approved and originated to be a privately owned and maintained road. Under the PUD, a gatehouse on the private roads is a permitted use by rightwithout any exceptions. Without protection, residents of the PUD will be responsiblefor increased cost to maintain property and exposure to liability from damagescaused by non-residents.
