I live on 8791 Coastline Ct. within100 feet of the Limestone Trail. I can see Limestone trail from my window as I write you this letter. After attending the last Planning Commission that resulted in the 6-1 vote recommending approval, I want to sincerely thank you for your effort and attention during that long day of deliberation on a matter that will dramatically effect my community and undoubtedly the value of my property. We live in a beautiful and unique community in the quarry. If you haven't, I encourage you to visit Limestone trail in person. If possible, put yourself in our shoes. Take a walk from our main entrance of the Quarry towards the gas station down limestone, our privately owned and maintained road. This is the route that will become a MAJOR cut-through route for the general public traveling from the gas station, by my house out of our front gate. You will observe the difference in the green grass and beautiful landscape that I pay hundreds of dollars in HOA fees to maintain as you leave the community and enter the commercial activity center area. You will also notice shocking amounts of litter, trash, and garbage surrounding the common shopping area and gas station. This trash is polluting the pond and spilling into our community as it is. If you lived here, you would not want the general public using your street, throwing trash on the ground and polluting out amazing quarry lakes. You would not want a road in your community, especially one 50 feet from your front door and home office turned into a public cut through. It's unthinkable that this is even a possibility. This is our private land, and I should not have to pay for the Increased additional costs and liability so the public can drive through my community to use the traffic signal at Quarry Drive and Immokalee Road. It it not fair that the country can simply impose their will to turn a private road into a gas station cut through the route with no reimbursement for the negative impacts it will have on the southern side of our community and the value of my home over the extended period of time. I am a first-time home-owner and want to live in the Quarry for a long time. I would not have purchased if I knew that Limestone was to be used/become a defacto “public road”. This increased cut-through traffic and its attendant noise was not anticipated. Please do the right thing and support the pending PUD Amendment. Thank you, Adam Best
