WHEREAS, Christopher R. Mitchell of J.R. Evans Engineering, P.A.,on behalf
of the Petitioner, has requested that a public hearing be held pursuant to Resolution No.
2013-166, to consider disclaiming, renouncing and vacating the County and public
interest in Gulf Shore Court, the 20-foot alley in Block "D" and a portion of Center
Street, all part of the plat of Vanderbilt Beach Center, Plat Book 3, Page 16, of the Public
Records of Collier County, Florida,being more specifically described in Exhibit A,attached
hereto;and
WHEREAS, Petitioner does hereby request that the Board of County
Commissioners take appropriate action, including the adoption of a resolution setting the
date and time of a public hearing to consider disclaiming, renouncing, and vacating the
County's interest in the above rights-of-way in accordance with Sections 336.09 and
336.10, Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, this vacation petition will be heard by the Board of County
Commissioners as a companion item to the One Naples Growth Management Plan
Amendment and Planned Unit Development Rezone; and
WHEREAS, on December 8, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners adopted
Resolution No. 2020-219, setting the public hearing date for this petition for January 12,
2021, however, on December 15, 2020, the Board held a special meeting and chose a
different date to hear the One Naples companion petitions; and
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners desires to hear and consider all
the companion petitions on the same meeting date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that pursuant to
Resolution No. 2013-166 in a regular session of the Board of County Commissioners, a
public hearing to consider disclaiming, renouncing and vacating the County's interest in

the above described rights-of-way will be held commencing at 9:00 a.m. on March 1,
2021, or as soon thereafter as practical, in the Boardroom, 3rd Floor, Administration

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall repeal and supersede
Resolution No. 2020-219; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the Clerk to the Board
is hereby directed to record a certified copy of the Resolution in the Public Records of
Collier County, Florida.
