Agenda 01/26/2021 Item #16E 1 (2021 Fiscal Year Pay & Classification Plan)01/26/2021 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Recommendation to approve modifications to the 2021 Fiscal Year Pay & Classification Plan which consist of three reclassifications made from October 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020. OBJECTIVE: To maintain a current and flexible pay plan that best meets the needs of the County. CONSIDERATIONS: Pursuant to Ordinance No. 13-40, the Board of County Commissioners has authorized the County Manager to make additions, modifications and deletions to the annual Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan, subject to retroactive ratification by the Board. This occurs three times during the fiscal year - in January, in April and in July. The modifications to the County’s 2021 Fiscal Year Pay & Classification Plan consists of three reclassifications. FISCAL IMPACT: This action will have no fiscal impact to the County. GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this Executive Summary. LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney, is approved as to form and legality, and requires majority vote for approval. -JAK RECOMMENDATION: To approve the three reclassifications made to the 2021 Fiscal Year Pay & Classification Plan.
