LET lT BE REMEMBERED that the Collier County Affordable Housing Advisory Committee met on this
date at 8:30 A.M. in a HYBRID WORKING SESSION in the Health Building 2"d Floor Conference Room in
Naples, Florida, with the following Members present:

steve Hruby called the meeting to order at 8:34 a.m. He read the procedures to be followed.
2. RoLL CA[r- CrMMrrrEE MEMBERS AND STAFF
There were 7 active members present when the meeting started, either in person or through ZOOM,
therefore a quorum was established. John Cowan joined the meeting at g:37 a.m.
3. APPRoVAI, oF AGENDA AND MINUTE
a. A motion was made to approve the agenda by Mary waller and seconded by Litha Berger.
The motion passed by a vote of 7-0.

b. A motion was made by Mary Waller to approve the minutes from the meetings in June 1
and was seconded by Denise Murphy. The motion and the motion was passed with a vote
of 7-0.

The Draft AHAC Ordinance wasdiscussed bythegroup. A few m inor changes were made
and some additional clarification was given by Cormac Giblin. As part of this new
ordinance there will be a total of 11 members, one being a Commissloner. The
Commissioner will be appointed at a regular Board meeting by the BCC members. The
members also discussed the orientation process for new members. Litha Berger
suggested a meeting for a n hour or two to explain the com mittee, how it works and where
to flnd materials. steve Hruby asked if a representative from Growth Management could
become part of the committee, Cormac said no, but he would invite someone as
additional staff. Steve also suggested they have an ,,annual meeting,, when the
committee could elect officers and discuss affordable housing incentives. Litha Berger
motioned to approve to take the Ordinance to the BCC with the minor changes made,
Mary Waller seconded and the group voted to approve by a vote of g-0.
7. STAFF AND GENERAL COMMUNICATIONS
8, ADJOURN
There being no further business for the good of the county, Litha Berger motioned to adjourn the
meeting; Den ise Murphy Litha Berger seconded, and the group agreed with a vote of g-0. The meeting
adjourned at 9:51 a.m.
