These items shall have full force and effect as the Bid Documents, and the cost involved shall be included in the various prices bid. Bids,to be submitted on the specified date shall conform to the additions and revisions listed herein. General 1. Question 1 on Overall Bid: There doesn't appear to be a reference to exterior coatings for the above ground DIP in the bid docs or the county standards for DIP.Standard DIP coating is asphaltic. What coatings are required if other than standard? Response: The cement-lined DIP piping shall be provided with a factory-installed asphaltic coating and field painted to match existing lines in conformance with County quality and color requirements. 2. Question 2 on Overall Bid: Sheet C-501 indicates the wet well with County approved protection. 1) Is recoat for repair areas where the new 16"drain is installed only or entire interior, sides, and top? 2) Can flow into wet well be halted or will bypass be required? 3) if bypass is required, what is the flow rate to be accommodated? 4) Is there mechanical equipment in the wetwell that will need to be removed prior to coating? 5) Is there an existing coating in place currently, and if so what is it(IET, Sewpercoat, etc)? 6) What are the dimensions of the wetwell, depth, and diameter? Response: The recoating is intended to repair/replace the coating removed or damaged by the installation of the new 16" line into the wet well. The penetration is on the 05/26/2020 Addendum 1-1 2020-05 Cq0 I 6 C 3 opposite side of the wet well from the mechanical equipment as so should not require bypass pumping or equipment relocation. Coating material is to be by either Raven or Sewercoat. The 6-foot diameter wet well shown on the drawings is drawn to scale. Contractor is to coordinate with plant operations staff to ensure wet well levels are maintained at a level sufficiently low to enable the work to be completed. 3. Question 3 on Overall Bid: Sheet M-102 indicates "8'; 12"& 16"PVC @ .34% SLOPE" Al! other references are DIP. Please confirm the pipe material desired. Response: The indication for PVC piping is incorrect. The piping should be DIP as indicated elsewhere. 4. Question 4 on Overall Bid: What is the electrical work required on this project? There is a bid line item for electrical work but not indicated on the plans. Please clarify. Response: The only electrical is conduit and signage relocations to accommodate pipe penetration(s). These are noted on the mechanical drawings. There are no electrical drawings.
