I am going to add the Zoom language and if we need it removed i'll do that when we receive the ad proof. I am checking with Geoffrey Willig to see if the public will have the zoom/virtual participation at the Budget Hearing. By statute this ad must run no later than 20 days before the hearing, but as you know NDN doesn't always do things perfectly. If we ask it to be run on 8/14, exactly 20 days before the hearing, then if there is any mistake with the ad running we will have no time to fix it and still keep the desired hearing date. As to the virtual participation language, I wasn't sure if the same arrangements are being made for this nighttime budget hearing in that regard, as are being made for the other BCC meetings. If that hearing will have the same opportunities for virtual participation by the public, then the standard paragraph for that should be added. i Thanks for checking, Wanda Rodriguez, .ACP, CR914 Office of the County Attorney (239) 252-8400 From: Martha S. Morning Karin & Wanda, I am getting ready to send the ad over to NDN, but I have a question: The run date for the ad is set to run on 8/12/2020 per the ad request. That would make it 22 days prior to hearing, do you want it to run that early or will 8/14/2020 work better? That will make it 20 days prior to hearing. Wanda, will this ad need the Zoom language?
