► Response and Recovery!
► Local State of Emergency:
► Consider an earlier implementation of a
Local State of Emergency with or without
evacuations. Associated activities may take
longer with COVID -19 concerns.
► Ensure County employees have ample time
to address family concerns and prepare for
emergency roles and provide for shelter set-
up! School schedule is an unknown
variable.
► We will need at least 12-14 hours to set-up
Palmetto Ridge High School and a minimum
of 8 hours to set-up a general population
shelter due to COVID-19.
► Tear -down or demobilization will take twice
as long so a disinfecting treatment can be
implemented in -place.
