Operations
u Response and Recovery!
u Local State of Emergency:
u Consider an earlier implementation of a Local State of Emergency with or without evacuations. Associated activities may take longer with COVID -19 concerns.
u Ensure County employees have ample time to address family concerns and prepare for emergency roles and provide for shelter set-up! School schedule is an unknown variable.
u We will need at least 12-14 hours to set-up Palmetto Ridge High School and a minimum of 8 hours to set-up a general population shelter due to COVID-19.
u Tear-down or demobilization will take twice as long so a disinfecting treatment can be implemented in-place.
