The following mandates shall govern access to Collier County Beaches until ordered otherwise a. Monday through Friday weekday hours shall continue on the current regular hours of operation, with no further restrictions. b. Weekends, consisting of Saturdays and Sundays, shall be opened from 7:00 a.m. up until 11:00 a.m. (closing hour) and then re-open at 5:00 p.m. through sunset. During the weekends all County parking garages, lots and facilities shall be limited to access only by County residents whose vehicles have Collier County/City of Naples beach parking passes. c. Memorial Day weekend shall consist of Saturday, Sunday and Monday (May 25, 2020) and the restrictions set forth in subsection (b) above, shall all be in effect. 2. The above mandates are hereby ordered to be followed immediately. 3. Effective Date; Duration. This Order shall remain in effect unless terminated by a subsequent Order. 4. CITY DF NAPLES NEWS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE City of Naples Health Information Update - Covid-19 (Coronavirus) Beach re-opening Naples, FL (May 11,2020)—On April 30, 2020, the City of Naples City Council implemented Phase I of the beach re-opening. Due to non-compliance with City regulations,the City decided to close the beaches at 12:01 am on Sunday, May 10, 2020, until further notice. Today, City Council met at an Emergency meeting and heard from over a hundred residents and visitors. City Council decided to re-open the beaches at 7:00am on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 with the following restrictions: • Regulated visiting hours: o Monday—Friday, open sunrise to sunset • No coolers and tents (chairs and umbrellas allowed) • Walking, running, swimming, fishing, and paddle boarding allowed o Weekends: 7am— 11am • Chairs, tents, umbrellas, or coolers prohibited • Walking, running, swimming, fishing, and paddle boarding allowed o Weekends: 5pm —sunset • ONLY chairs allowed.
