RESOLUTION NO. 2006- 155
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING A SALE OF 4.39 ACRES
BETWEEN THE COUNTY AND THE CITY OF NAPLES FOR
CONSERVATION PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Collier County is the owner of that certain real property in Collier County,
Florida, approximately 4.39 acres in total and more particularly described in Exhibit "A", attached
hereto and made a part hereof ("County Property"); and
WHEREAS, the City of Naples has applied to Collier County to purchase the County Property
for conservation purposes and Collier County desires to sell property as long as it is used for
conservation purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City of Naples has agreed to reimburse the County for its costs by paying the
sum of $1 0,900, which is the original purchase price for the County Property; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 125.38, Florida Statutes, the Board of County
Commissioners is satisfied that the County Property is required for the City's proposed use and is no
longer needed for County purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds that the proposed sale is in the best
interest of the County and meets the goals of Ordinance 2002-63.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
