EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to authorize a budget amendment to recognize revenue and transfer funding for
projects within the Transportation Supported Gas Tax Fund (313) and Transportation & CDES
Capital Fund (310) in the amount of $167,526.88 (Projects 60085, 60088, 69331, 69333, 69336,
69339, and 69338).
OBJECTIVE: For the Board of County Commissioners to authorize a budget amendment to recognize
revenue for Traffic Impact Study Review Programs, Planned Unit Development Monitoring/Traffic
Counts, and Countywide Pathway Programs within the Transportation Supported Gas Tax Fund (313) and
CDES Transportation Capital Fund (310).
CONSIDERATIONS: Funds have been collected specifically as payment-in-lieu, and project review
fees from the application and monitoring process. These funds are required to be tracked and spent on
projects for which the developments were identified for mitigation or on consultant contracts to perform
the studies on the developments behalf under required monitoring conditions.
These funds were collected in fiscal year 2020 and exceeded the budgeted revenues. It is now appropriate
to recognize these revenues and transfer the funds into the following projects:

FISCAL IMPACT: Budget amendments are needed to recognize the additional revenue exceeding
FY20 budgeted amounts and appropriate into the aforementioned projects within the Transportation Gas
Tax Fund (313), in the amount of $24,250.00, and Transportation & CDES Capital Fund (310), in the
amount of $143,276.88.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney, does not present
a legal issue and requires a majority vote for Board approval. -JAK
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management Impact.
RECOMMENDATION: To recognize funds in the amount of $167,526.88 and authorize the necessary
budget amendments.
