RESOLUTION NO. 2006-151
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY TO REAPPOINT MEMBERS TO THE
CONTRACTORS' LICENSING BOARD.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 90-105, as amended, created the
Contractors' Licensing Board and provides that the Board shall be composed of nine (9)
members appointed by the Board of County Commissioners with a minimum of two (2)
members residing within the corporate city limits of Naples and/or the City of Marco
Island, or recommended to the Board by the Naples City Council and/or the City Council
of the City of Marco Island; and
WHEREAS, on June 8, 1999, as required by Section 489.131(10), Florida Statutes,
the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 99-45, amending Ordinance
No. 90-105, to include at least 3 members that qualify as consumer representatives;
and
WHEREAS, the terms of three (3) members will expire creating vacancies on this
Board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from various interested parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. William T. Lewis is hereby reappointed under the General Contractor category to
the Contractors' Licensing Board for a 3 year term, said term to expire on June
30, 2009.
2. Richard E. Joslin, Jr., is hereby reappointed under the Certified State Pool
Contractor category to the Contractors' Licensing Board for a 3 year term, said
term to expire on June 30, 2009.
3. Sydney E. Blum is hereby reappointed under the Plumbing Contractor/Consumer
category to the Contractors' Licensing Board for a 3 year term, said term to
expire on June 30, 2009.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
