EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommend Approval of a Beach Park Facilities Capital Fund (183) Budget

submitted the Vanderbilt Beach Pedestrian Access #3 to FDEP (Florida Department of
Environmental Protection) to obtain the required regulatory agency permits to construct this
project; the permit process was executed on February 10, 2006, and is now complete; the project
is currently ready for commencement of the formal construction bidding phase. This project
represents the third of eight total County-owned pedestrian easement access points to receive
capital improvements.
With the close out of Beach Access Landscape Project 902942, and the transfer of funds from
Vanderbilt Beach Walkway Project 900921 staff is requcsting that $2,161.50 and $112,000.00
respectively be transferred to the Vanderbilt Pedestrian Walkway Project No.3 in order proceed

was intended to fund only the cost of the design and permitting phase.
