RESOLUTION FORMALLY ACCEPTING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND PREVIOUSLY CONVEYED BY THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION WITHIN THE UNINCORPORATED AREA OF COLLIER COUNTY. WHEREAS, a certain parcel of land in unincorporated Collier County more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, was conveyed to Collier County by the Florida Department of Transportation on December 19, 1980 in Road Plat Book 2, Page 2]; and WHEREAS, this parcel of land has been maintained and utilized by Collier County for public purposes since such time; and WHEREAS, the formal acceptance by resolution of the Board of County Commissioners will further document the ownership of this parcel by Collier County and facilitate any future conveyance of this parcel by the recording of said resolution; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that it is in the public interest to accept the conveyance of this parcel through formal resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: ]. All title rights and interest to this certain parcel of land more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby formally accepted by the Board of County Commissioners. 2. That said parcel constitutes a portion of the road, street and highway conveyed by the Florida Department of Transportation by right-of-way map recorded at Road Plat Book 2, Page 21. 3. Collier County may continue to utilize and maintain this parcel of land for public purpose. This Resolution is hereby duly adopted after motion, second and majority vote favoring its adoption.
