RESOLUTION NO. 2002-~
A RESOLUTION OF THE COLLIER COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS AUTHORIZING COUNTY TRANSPORTATION
OFFICIALS TO CERTIFY DISBURSEMENTS TO THE FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
WHEREAS, agreements exist between the Collier County Board of County
Commissioners (Board) and the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and said
agreements require ongoing approval of monthly progress payments to parties identified in the
agreements; and
WHEREAS, FDOT has advised County staff that adoption of a resolution giving the
Board consent and specifically authorizing County staff to sign documents authorizing progress
payments is acceptable to the FDOT; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Board that the positions, the titles of which appear in
the chart below, are hereby delegated the authority to approve and execute on behalf of and in
the name of the Board, certifications of disbursements; and
WHEREAS, this Board authorization shall remain in full force and effect, and the FDOT
shall be entitled to rely upon this authorization until written notice of modification, rescission, or
revocation has been provided to the State Utility Engineer of the FDOT. No such modification,
rescission, or revocation shall, in any event, be effective with respect to any certifications of
disbursements provided by the County to FDOT prior to notice of such modification, rescission,
or revocation to the FDOT as specified above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:

appear in the chart below, are hereby authorized to approve and execute on behalf of and in the
name of the Board, the specified documents listed in the chart below.
