WHEREAS, the advent of a birth is a very special occasion filled with joy and wonder as a baby
is welcomed into the world,' and,
WHEREAS, parents Aggie and Marius Krolczynski found that joy on July 24th welcoming their
second child Ethan Gregory, but in circumstances that were challenging and stressful,'
and,
WHEREAS, by providence, Aggie and Marius found themselves at the Big Corkscrew Island Fire
Rescue Station lOon Immokalee Road and in the very capable presence of Collier
County Emergency Medical Services and Big Corkscrew Island Fire Rescue personnel,'
and,
WHEREAS, the residents of Collier County are fortunate in the breadth and depth of their
emergency response personnel, and on July 24'" Aggie and Marius, along with baby
Ethan Gregory, discovered how quick thinking, responsive, and professional these
dedicated individuals can be in a situation beyond the norm,' and,
WHEREAS, because the birth was imminent, the resources of the fire station and skills of its
personnel allowed for the slife delivery of biJby Ethan Gregory at the fire station,'
and,
WHEREAS, this proclamation celebrates the joy and grtltefulness of Aggie and Marius for the
safe delivery .t1f E'thtm Gregory, and the proclamatiDII $t1/utes the two teams, Collier
County Emergency Medical Services, and Big Corkscrew Island Fire Rescue, that
demonstrated true professionlJlism.
