Resolution 2002-190 16A 3 RESOLUTION NO. 2002-_-1..2..0 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PROVIDING FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF LIEN FOR THE COST OF THE ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH ORDINANCE No. 99-51, AS SUCCESSOR TO ORDINANCE No. 91-47, AS AMENDED WHEREAS, as provided in Ordinance No. 99-51, as successor to Ordinance No. 91-47, as amended, the direct costs of abatement of certain nuisances, including prescribed administrative cost incurred by the County, shall be assessed against such property; and WHEREAS, the cost thereof to the County as to each parcel shall be calculated and reported to the Board of County Commissioners, together with a description of said parcel; and WHEREAS, such assessment shall be a legal, valid and binding obligation upon the property against which made until paid; and WHEREAS, the assessment shall become due and payable no later than twenty (20) days of the date of the Legal Notice of Assessment and interest shall accrue on the unpaid balance beginning on the date this Resolution is recorded at the rate of twelve percent (12%) per annum. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the property described as follows, having been abated of a public nuisance after due and proper notice thereof to the owner(s) of said property, is hereby assessed the following costs of such abatement, to wit: NAME: CASTANEDA, CELSO M. & MARIA DE JESUS CASTANEDA. LEGAL DESCRIPTION: A parcel of land in the SE 1;4 of Section 12, Township 51 South, Range 27 East, lying and being in Collier County, Florida; thence along the East line of said Section 12, North 0 degrees, 11 minutes, 20 seconds East, 1218.76 feet for a Place of Beginning; thence North 89 degrees, 56 minutes, 55 seconds West 526.93 feet; thence North 0 degrees, 18 minutes, 36 seconds East 438.74 feet; thence South 89 degrees, 56 minutes, 55 seconds East 526.00 feet to the East line of said Section 12; thence along said East line South 0 degrees, 11 minutes, 20 seconds West 438.74 feet to the Place of Beginning less the east 30 feet, as per deed to Collier County recorded in ORB 001033 Page 1112, in the Public Records of Collier County, and less The South 30 feet as per deed to Collier County recorded in ORB 001193, Page 1332, of the Public Records of Collier County COST: $2,180.00 REFERENCE#: 2102 FOLIO #: 739640003 The Clerk shall (by regular U.S. mail) mail a copy of this Resolution along with the Notice of Assessment of Lien to the owner(s) of the above-described property. If within twenty (20) days of the date of mailing that copy, the owner fails to deliver payment in full to Collier County, the Resolution and Notice of Assessment shall be recorded in the official records of Collier County, and by recording shall constitute a lien against the above-described real property, and to the extent allowed by law. shall also be a lien upon all other real and/or personal property owned by the noted property owner(s) in Collier County.
