EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Present to the Board of County Commissioners a summary of the Impact Fee Deferral
Agreements recommended for approval in FY10, including the total number of Agreements
approved, the total dollar amount deferred and the balance remaining for additional deferrals in

CONSIDERATIONS: Article IV of Chapter 74 of the Code of Laws and Ordinances established a
program to defer impact fees for qualified affordable housing. For FY 10, Collier County has

affordable housing. This number represents 3% of the total Impact Fees collected in the prior fiscal
year. Additionally, Collier County has committed $187,500 for the deferment of Water System Impact
Fees and Sewer System Impact Fees. The Ordinance also allows for the deferral of Impact Fees on a
total of 225 rental apartment units per fiscal year.
