Agenda 10/27/2009 Item # 9AAgenda Item No. 9A October 27, 2009 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Page 1 of 18 Appointment of member(s) to Radio Road East of Santa Barbara Boulevard to Davis Boulevard Advisory Committee OBJECTIVE: To appoint 5 members to serve alternating terms (2 members for 2 years; 2 members for 3 years; and, 1 member for 4 years) on the Radio Road East of Santa Barbara Boulevard to Davis Boulevard Advisory Committee. CONSIDERATIONS: The Radio Road East of Santa Barbara Boulevard to Davis Boulevard Advisory Committee was created on July 28, 2009 by Ordinance No. 2009 -44. 'This 5 member committee will recommend to the Board of County Commissioners an itemized budget of the amount of money required to carry out the business of the MSTU, recommend work programs and priorities in accordance with the adopted budget/budget amendments in carrying out the MSTU and may adopt guidelines to govern its operation and the operation of the MSTU, subject to approval by the Board of County Commissioners. Members must reside within the MSTU which will include Sapphire Lakes, The Shores, Furse Lakes Club, Granada Lakes Villas, Ibis Club, Madison Park, Blue Heron, Sherwood Park, Berkshire Lakes - Berkshire Pine, Sabal Lakes, and Plantation.
