This correspondence constitutes a Public Records Request, pursuant to Florida Statutes,
Section 119.011 et seq., for the review and possible copying of any and all billing records and
documents, [as defined below), from May 31, 2009 through the present date that refer to, show,
or pertain to any and all costs incurred and money spent by the Clerk in the following cases:

For purposes of this public records request, the following definition of "documents" applies:
The term "document" when used herein, means all originals of any nature
whatsoever, identical copies, and all non-identical copies thereof, pertaining to any
medium upon which intelligence or information is recorded in your possession,
custody, or control regardless of where located; including without limiting the
generality of the foregoing, printout sheets, slides, photographs, notes, letters,
memoranda, e-mails, ledgers, worksheets, books of account, brochures, circulars,
proofs, sheets, books, magazines, notebooks, diaries, calendars, appointment books,
registers, charts, tables, papers, agreements, contracts, purchase orders,
acknowledgments, invoices, authorizations, budgets, analyses, projections,
transcripts, minutes of meetings of any kind, correspondence, telegrams, drafts, data
processing discs or tapes, and computer produced interpretations thereof,
instructions, announcements, schedules, price lists, and mechanical or electrical
sound recordings and transcripts thereof. In all cases, where originals and/or non-
identical copies are not available, document also means identical copies of original
documents and copies of non-identical copies.
Pursuant to Florida Statutes 119.07(e) and (t), if the records custodian "...contends that all or
part of the record is exempt from inspection and copying, he or she shall state the basis of the
exemption that he or she contends is applicable to the record, including the statutory citation to
an exemption created or afforded by statute." This public records request encompasses a request
for". . . the custodian of public records shall state in writing and with particularity the reasons for
the conclusion that the record is exempt or confidential."
