EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to adopt a Resolution to approve the Satisfactions of Lien for Solid Waste
residential accounts wherein the County has received payment and said Liens are satisfied in
full for the 1995 and 1996 Solid Waste Co))ection and Disposal Services Special Assessment.
Fiscal impact is $38.00 to record the Satisfactions of Lien.
OBJECTIVE: Adopt a Resolution approving the Satisfactions of Lien for residential accounts
where the County has received payment in full for the 1995 and 1996 Solid Waste Collection
Services Special Assessment.
CONSIDERATIONS: Resolution No. 2000-236, adopted by the Board of County Commissioners
(Board) on August 1, 2000, provided for the recording of the list of 1995 delinquent solid waste
collection and disposal services special assessments and a mailing of a written notice of the
imposition of each residential unit lien. Resolution No. 2000-236 was recorded on August 8, 2000
in Official Record Book 2707, Pages 3195 through 3273 of the Official Records of Collier County,
Florida, which placed a lien on certain residential properties for the 1995 Solid Waste Collection
Services Special Assessment.

Resolution No. 2000-237, adopted by the Board on August 1, 2000 provided for the recording of
the list of 1996 delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special assessment and a
mailing of a written notice of the imposition of each residential unit lien. Resolution No, 2000-237
was recorded on August 8, 2000 in Official Record Book 2708, Pages 0199 through 0309 of the
Official Records of Collier County, Florida, which placed a lien on certain residential properties for
the 1996 Solid Waste Collection Services Special Assessment.
Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30, as amended, provides that Satisfactions of Lien shall be
approved by Resolution.
The attached Resolution lists the two accounts that have been paid in full for the 1995 and 1996
Solid Waste Collection Services Special Assessment Lien.
FISCAL IMPACT: The fiscal impact for recording the Satisfactions of Lien and the Resolution is
approximately $38.00, which is to be charged to County Water/Sewer Operating Fund (408).
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed for legal sufficiency and there are no
outstanding legal considerations. This item is not quasi-judicial and ex parte disclosures are not
required. This item requires a simple majority vote, and is legally sufficient for Board action. -JW
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management impact associated
with these items.

RECOMMENDA TION: That the Board of County Commissioners adopt the attached Resolution
approving the two Satisfactions of Lien for the accounts listed in the Resolution and authorizing the
Chairman to sign the two Satisfactions of Lien for the 1995 and 1996 Solid Waste Collection
Services Special Assessment Lien.

RESOLUTION NO. 2009 -
A RESOLUTION APPROVING SATISFACTIONS OF LIEN
FOR CERTAIN ACCOUNTS THAT HAVE BEEN PAID IN
FULL, THE 1995 AND 1996 SOLID WASTE COLLECTION
AND DISPOSAL SERVICES SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30, as amended, the Board of
County Commissioners on August 1, 2000, adopted Resolution No. 2000-236 authorizing the
recording of notices of liens for the delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special
assessments for 1995; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30, as amended, the Board of
County Commissioners on August 1, 2000, adopted Resolution No. 2000-237 authorizing the
recording of notices of liens for the delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special
assessments for 1996; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30, as amended, requires the Board to
approve by Resolution and record in the Official Records Satisfactions of Lien on all accounts that
have been paid in full.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
Pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30, as amended, the Board recognizes full
payment and receipt of the 1995 and 1996 Service Year Solid Waste Collection and Disposal
Special Assessments for the following accounts numbered below, subsequent to the adoption of
Resolution No. 2000-236 and 2000-237, whereupon liens have been recorded on real property
pertaining to the accounts identified herein.
The Satisfactions of Lien attached hereto, referencing the accounts identified herein, are
hereby approved and the Chairman is hereby authorized to sign this Resolution on behalf of the
Board of County Commissioners, and the Clerk is directed to record this Resolution and these
Satisfactions of Lien individually in the official records of Collier County:
