EMERGENCY CURFEW
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA

Wbereas, tbe Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida
(tbe "Board") in an emergency session adopted proclamation/resolution 2004/244
declaring a state of emergency for all territory within the legal boundaries of Collier
County pursuant to Collier County Ordinance 2002-50, also known as 84-37.
Whereas, Hurricane Charley has presented a threat to the health, safety and
welfare of the citizens of Collier County, therefore Commissioner Henning as Acting
Chairman on behalf of the Board adopts a curfew in the unincorporated areas of
Collier County between 10:00 p.m., August 14, 2004 and 6:00 a.m., August 15,2004,
wbich includes but is not limited to the prohibition of or restrictions on pedestrian
and vebicular movements, standing and parking, except for the provision of
essential goods and services, such as fire, police, emergency medical services and
hospital services, including the transportation of patients, utility emergency repairs
and emergency calls by physicians.
Persons violating the established curfew will be guilty of a misdemeanor of
the second degree, punishable as provided in Florida Statutes 775.082 or 775.083.
