Dear Mr. Johns:
Please be advised that you are scheduled to appear before the Collier County Board of
Commissioners at the meeting of May 12, 2009, regarding the above referenced subject.
Your petition to the Board of County Commissioners will be limited to ten minutes.
Please be advised that the Board will take no action on your petition at this meeting.
However, your petition may be placed on a future agenda for consideration at the
Board's discretion. If the subject matter is currentiy under litigation or is an on-going
Code Enforcement case, the Board will hear the item but will not discuss the item after it
has been presented. Therefore, your petition to the Board should be to advise them of
your concern and the need for action by the Board at a future meeting.
The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Board's Chambers on the Third Floor of the W.
Harmon Turner Building (Building "F") of the govemment complex. Please arrange to be
present at this meeting and to respond to inquiries by Board members.

V ARIANCB REQUESTED IS TO AlLOW AN EXISTING
NON-CONFORMING, OFF-PREMISIlS DIRECTIONAL SIGN
TO RBMAlN AT ITS EXISTING LOCATION FOR A PERIOD
OF NOT MORE THAN TIIRIlB YEARS. THE SUBJECT
PROPERTY IS LOCATED AT TIlE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF
COUJER BOULEVARD AND RATTLESNAKE-HAMMOCK
ROAD ON PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED IN

WHEREAS, the Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) bas bold a public hoating after notice
as in said regulations made and provided, and has considered the adviaability of an after-the-fatt
sign variance to allow lUl existing, non-confonning off-pICIIIises directional sign (hereinafter
referred to as the "Sign ") to remain at its existing location for a period of not more than three
years. The Sign is located on the southeast comer of Collier Boulevard and Rattlesnakc-
Hammock Road, as shown on a site plan attacbed as Exhibit "A." The BZA bas found as a
matter of fact that satisfactory provision and arrangement have been made concerning all
applicable mattcn requinod by said regulations and in accotdanee with Section 9.04.00 of lbe
Zoning Regulations of said Land Development Code for the unincorporaled area of Collier
County; and
WHEREAS. all intcreSlOd parties bave been given lbe opportunity to be heard by this
Board in public meeting assembled and the Board baving considered all matters presented.
NOW. THI!REPORE. BE IT RBSOLVED BY THE BOARD OP ZONING APPEALS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA. that:
