RESOLUTION NO. 2019 - 83
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING PATRICIA SHERRY
AND ELOY RICARDO TO THE COLLIER COUNTY WATER AND
WASTEWATER AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 96-6 established the Collier County Water
and Wastewater Authority to regulate utility rates and related matters regarding non-exempt
water and wastewater utilities in unincorporated Collier County; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 96-6, as amended, provides that the Authority shall be
composed of five members; three members with technical expertise and two members with
experience in any area of regulation; and
WHEREAS, there are three seats on this Authority which expire on May 21, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties.
WHEREAS, staff has provided the Board of County Commissioners with its
recommendations for reappointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that PATRICIA SHERRY, in the
category of technical member, and ELOY RICARDO, in the category of lay member, are hereby
reappointed to the Collier County Water and Wastewater Authority, to four-year terms which
shall expire on May 21, 2023.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED upon majority vote on the 14t" day of May, 2019.
