A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, COLLIER COUNTY
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING ITS CHAIR TO EXECUTE A LOCAL AGENCY PROGRAM
SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION ("FDOT") TO PROVIDE FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR COLLIER
COUNTY TO PURCHASE TRAFFIC COUNT EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING REPAIRS AND
UPGRADES,UNDER LAP AGREEMENT No.436971-1-98-01 (Contract No.GOS32).
WHEREAS, on January 22, 2019, the Collier County Board of Commissioners ("Board") approved
entering into the attached Local Agency Program Supplemental Agreement (the "Supplemental Agreement")
with the FDOT, which provides Collier County additional funds to purchase traffic count equipment under
Local Agency Program Agreement No. FPN: 436971-1-98-01,Contract No. GOS32(the"Project");and
WHEREAS, FDOT and Collier County are entering into the Supplemental Agreement to increase
funding for the Project in the additional amount of$113,469.00;thereby increasing the funding available for the
Project,which now amounts to$453,469.00;and
WHEREAS, the execution of the Supplemental Agreement is in the best interests of the citizens of
Collier County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY,FLORIDA,that:
1. The Board of County Commissioners approves, and authorizes its Chair to sign,the attached
Local Agency Program Supplemental Agreement.
2. The Collier County Clerk is directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to FDOT
along with the Local Agency Program Supplemental Agreement for execution by FDOT.
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second, and majority vote favoring same, this 22nd
day of January,2019.

Reason for Supplemental and supporting engineering and/or cost analysis:
The purpose of this Supplemntal Agreement#1 is to provide Collier County with an additional $113,469(One Hundred
Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred and Sixty Nine Dollars)for Equpement Purchase services for this project. The total
Department Participation is$453,469.00(Four Hundred Fifty Three Thousand Four Hundred Sixty Nine Dollars.)
The LAP Agreement is amended as follows:
A. Exhibit B"SCHEDULE OF FUNDING" is replaced in its entirety by the"ADJUSTED EXHIBIT B SCHEDULE OF
FUNDING"and is incorporated by reference.
B. Section 4.A under project cost on page 1 of the December 11,2017 Local Agency Agreement is replaced in its
entirety by:
The Total cost of the Project is$453,469 (Four Hundred Fifty-Three Thousand Four Hundred and Sixty-Nine). The
amount is based upon the schedule of funding in Exhibit"B", Schedule of Funding attached to and incorporated in this
Agreement.The Agency agrees to bear all expenses in excess of the total cost of the Project and any deficits involved.
The schedule of funding may be modified by mutual agreement as provided in paragraph 5.1.
