EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve the Satisfactions of Lien for the 1995 and 1996 Solid Waste
Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments where the county has received
payment in full satisfaction of the liens. Fiscal impact is $38.50 to record the Satisfactions
of Lien.
OBJECTIVE: Approve the Satisfactions of Lien for the 1995 and 1996 Solid Waste Collection
and Disposal Services Special Assessments where the county has received payment in full
satisfaction of the liens.
CONSIDERATIONS: Resolution No. 2000 -236, adopted by the Board of County
Commissioners (Board) on August 1, 2000, recorded a list of property owners delinquent in
paying the 1995 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments, and
authorized mailing a written notice of the imposition of a lien to each property owner.
Resolution No. 2000 -236 was recorded on August 8, 2000, in Official Record Book 2707, Pages
3195 through 3273 of the Official Records of Collier County, Florida. The Resolution placed a
lien on certain residential properties for the 1995 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services
Special Assessments.
Resolution No. 2000 -237, adopted by the Board on August 1, 2000, recorded a list of property
owners delinquent in paying the 1996 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special
Assessments, and authorized mailing a written notice of the imposition of a lien to each property
owner. Resolution No. 2000 -237 was recorded on August 8, 2000, in Official Record Book
2708, Pages 0199 through 0309 of the Official Records of Collier County, Florida. The
Resolution placed a lien on certain residential properties for the 1996 Solid Waste Collection and
Disposal Services Special Assessments.
Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, provides that Satisfactions of Lien shall be
approved by Resolution. The attached Resolution lists two accounts that have paid in full
satisfaction of the liens for the 1995 and 1996 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services
Special Assessments.
FISCAL IMPACT: The fiscal impact for recording the Satisfactions of Lien and the Resolution
is $38.50. Funds are available in the Water /Sewer Operating Fund (408).
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed and approved by the County
Attorney's Office and is legally sufficient for Board action —JBW.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management impact associated
with this item.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the two Satisfactions of Lien for the 1995 and 1996 Solid
Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments and authorize the Chairman to sign
the Resolution.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING SATISFACTIONS OF LIEN
FOR CERTAIN ACCOUNTS THAT HAVE BEEN PAID IN
FULL, INCLUDING INTEREST, ARISING FROM THE 1995
AND 1996 SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL
SERVICES SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, the Board of
County Commissioners on August 1, 2000, adopted Resolution No. 2000 -236 authorizing the
recording of notices of liens for the delinquent Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services
Special Assessments for 1995; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, the Board of
County Commissioners on August 1, 2000, adopted Resolution No. 2000 -237 authorizing the
recording of notices of liens for the delinquent Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services
Special Assessments for 1996; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, requires the Board to
approve by Resolution and record in the Official Records Satisfactions of Lien on all accounts that
have been paid in full.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
Pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, the Board recognizes full
payment and receipt of the 1995 and 1996 Service Year Solid Waste Collection and Disposal
Special Assessments for the following accounts numbered below, whereupon a lien has been
recorded on real property pertaining to the following accounts:
