RESOLUTION NO. 2010 - 45
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING CLARENCE S. TEARS, JR.,
AND LAUREN BARBER TO THE LAND ACQUISITION ADVISORY
COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 2002-63, established the Land Acquisition Advisory
Committee to assist the Board in establishing an "Active Properties Acquisition List" with qualified
purchase recommendations consistent with the goals of Conservation Collier; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2002-63, as amended, provides that this Advisory Committee shall
consist of nine members representing the broad and balanced interests of Collier County Citizens as
set forth in the Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, there are currently two vacancies on this Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting
applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee has provided the Board of County
Commissioners with its recommendations for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that CLARENCE S. TEARS, JR.,
representing "Environmental, Agriculture, Educational, Civic, Ecology, and Conservation interests in
Collier County," and LAUREN BARBER, representing "Environmental, Conservation, Civic,
Ecology, Real Estate, and Land Management interests in Collier County," are hereby appointed to the
Land Acquisition Advisory Committee for three-year terms, said terms to expire on February 11,
2013.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the 23rd day of
