Backup Documents 02/08/2011 Item # 4B�1 PROCLAMA TION WHEREAS, the Golden bate Task Force Team has the stated aim, high lighted in their motto of "Enhancing the Quality of Life in Golden bate'; and, WHEREAS, the Holiday Home Makeover Project of 2010 has given the Wix family dramatic changes in their quality of life, and, WHEREAS, the Wix family have spent 45 years dedicated to supporting their son Bruce who has been confined to a wheelchair due to his disabilities, and, WHEREAS, the Golden bate Task Force Team made up of many contractors and contributors along with members from code enforcement, utility education and compliance, 661den bate Fire d Rescue, Collier County Sheriff's Office and 661den bate residents, developed a project to help the Wix family, and, WHEREAS, the Wix house was painted, landscaped and an access ramp built to give them accessibility they have never had, in addition, their van is going to be painted and fitted with a ramp to assist with the transportation of their son, and, WHEREAS, the 661den bate community are fortunate to have a dedicated group of companies and individuals that make up the 661den bate Task Force Team, who are making such an impact to the Wix family and by example encouraging the neighborhood to join in renovating their properties. NOW THEREFORE, be it proclaimed by the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida, that February 8, 2011, be designated as 60L DEN 6A TE TASK FORCE TEAM DAY DONE AND ORDERED THIS 8th Day of February, 2011.
