It's on the agenda tomorrow as 9A (Siena Lakes Commercial Planned Unit Development) and 9B (Companion to A. providing for amendment to add temporary principal uses for off-site sales, marketing and administration for the Siena Lakes). With any movement forward on these developments, please keep traffic in mind. Orange Blossom is meant to be 30 MPH, but so often it is driven at higher speeds and can become quite congested as it is sometimes used to avoid Pine Ridge. The land is valuable -- Please make smart decisions related to growth and density. I would also be interested to know if the Commission might revisit raising impact fees to pre-circa-2008 levels. Lastly, I noted 6A, a request prohibiting the retail sale of dogs and cats. While my pets have all been rescues, I question if this is necessary and would the prohibition even be enforced. Your Solid & Hazardous Waste Mgmt investigator was out to inspect and had conversations with some landscapers there to educate them about the rules.
