This grant is set to expire on December 31,2018 and we are writing to request an extension of the FY15/16 JPA to December 31, 2019. The Agreement was executed December 1, 2015 and it took some time for staff to develop the scope for the procurement process due to the research and coordination required to ensure that the proposal submitted covered the desired features for the mobile application. We are currently finalizing the procurement process and expect to have a contract in place with the selected contractor by September 2018. The schedule for implementation is approximately 159 days and the Marketing for this project will require 111 days of the project implementation. The project will be fully implemented by July 2019. This extension will allow time for the development, testing, implementation and marketing of the mobile application. The extension would also provide for time to sufficiently close out the grant.
