Mike,
The Department did not receive the notification to extend the 17-3ESR proposed amendment; however, the
Department acknowledges the County's notice to extend the adoption timeframe until September 11, 2018, pursuant to
your e-mail correspondence. The Department looks forward to reviewing the adopted amendment once received. If
you have any other questions please do not hesitate in contacting me.
Thanks

Mr. Eubanks, Within the attached letter you reference GMP-amendment DEO#17-3ESR (Collier PL2016-2360) as being
deemed withdrawn due to 180 days passing from the date of adoption (December 21, 2017). This correspondence is to
let the DEO know that that item is set for an adoption hearing tomorrow at 9am (attached agenda item 9A) with the
Collier County Board of County Commisisoners. I had thought my office had requested a time extension due to our BCC
taking a summer break and the item would need an extension. If that request never arrived, please consider this e-mail,
as such and be aware that our adoption hearing is set, as mentioned, for tomorrow at 9am. At transmittal, no significant
state resources were identified and I believe the adoption will simply be a matter of local concern. I will try and call you
in the morning to discuss, but want to make you aware of the County's intention to move forward with the petition and
will transmit the package to the DEO if adopted by the BCC at tomorrow's hearing.
Thank you for your understanding,
Mike
