Driftwood offers over two acres of shade houses boasting thousands of green and
colorful interior and outdoor plants, along with the area’s largest selection of Pottery
with over 10,000 containers to choose from. The stores encompass a full service
Nursery, water gardening center and florist located in Naples. Driftwood also has professional
landscape designers on staff to create custom home or commercial landscape designs. Experience the

That small town feel is still alive and well in Naples and Estero at Driftwood Garden Center. In 1984
Gary and Rene Hazelett came to town from Fort Wayne, Indiana with 3 children in tow. Their passions
were family, gardening and business. Driftwood’s been a family owned and operated obsession ever
since. Now their 2 sons manage and run both stores with a dedicated team of over 100 employees.
Driftwood also keeps it local. With over ninety percent of the plant materials we stock comes from
South Florida. It’s a conscious effort and belief that we have to stimulate our local and statewide
economy while minimizing our carbon imprint. By doing this, we’re able to custom order for our
clientele and cherry-pick the highest quality, best performing plants for our area and climate. Another
part of keeping it local is giving back to the communities in which we live. Annually, Driftwood donates
time, goods and services to over 200 area charities. Driftwood also proudly supports our business
community and partners with many community events to help in their success.
