RESOLUTION NO. 2012— 172
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING CHRISTIAN DAVIS AND
PATRICIA C. FORTUNE AND APPOINTING ALAN HAMISCH TO THE
AFFORDABLE HOUSING ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on July 31, 1991, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 91-65
establishing the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 91-65, as subsequently amended, provides that this Advisory
Committee shall be composed of eleven (11) voting members and one (1) alternate member appointed by
the Board of County Commissioners and the Naples City Council based on residency and professional
experience related to affordable housing; and
WHEREAS, there are currently vacancies on this Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting
applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Advisory Committee has provided the Board of County Commissioners with its
recommendation for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the appointments to the Affordable Housing Advisory
Committee are as follows:
1. CHRISTIAN DAVIS, who resides within the jurisdiction of the local government, is hereby
reappointed for a three-year term, said term to expire on October 1, 2015.
2. PATRICIA C. FORTUNE, a for-profit provider of affordable housing, is hereby reappointed for a
three-year term, said term to expire on October 1, 2015; and
3. ALAN HAMISCH, an advocate for low income persons, is hereby appointed to fulfill a vacant,
unexpired term, said term to expire on October 1, 2014.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the 25th day of
September, 2012.
