7. In most cases(some contracts are an exception),the original document and this routing slip
should be provided to the County Attorney Office at the time the item is input into SIRE.
Some documents are time sensitive and require forwarding to Tallahassee within a certain
time frame or the BCC's actions are nullified. Be aw re of your deadlines!

A RESOLUTION MEMORIALZING THE RESIGNATION OF ANDREW1 6 A 13
McELWAINE AS A MEMBER OF THE COLLIER COUNTY RESTORE
AD HOC SELECTION ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND APPOINTING
JENNIFER HECKER AS A REGULAR MEMBER AND JEREMY
FRANTZ AS HER ALTERNATE, REPRESENTING THE
CONSERVANCY OF SOUTHWEST FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, on June 11, 2013, the Board of County Commissioners formally appointed
external stakeholders to the RESTORE ("Resources and Ecosystems Sustainability, Tourism
Opportunities and Revived Economies of the Gulf States Act of 2012") Ad Hoc Selection
Committee (the "Committee"), which included Andrew McElwaine as a member representing
The Conservancy of Southwest Florida(the "Conservancy"); and
WHEREAS, Mr. McElwaine is resigning his position with the Conservancy effective
July 5, 2013, and will no longer be able to serve on the Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Conservancy requests that Jennifer Hecker be named as the
Conservancy's representative with Jeremy Frantz serving as her alternate; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners recognizes the importance of filling
the Conservancy's soon to be vacant advisory board member position so that its representative
can assist the Committee in making recommendations in the public interest.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY FLORIDA,THAT:
1. The resignation of Andrew McElwaine from the RESTORE Ad Hoc Selection
Committee is accepted.
2. Jennifer Hecker is appointed as a member to the RESTORE Ad Hoc Selection
Committee, with Jeremy Frantz serving as her alternate.
PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Collier
County, Florida, this 25thday of June,2013.
