by the Office of the County Attorney.
4. All handwritten strike-through and revisions have been initialed by the County Attorney's JAK
Office and all other parties except the BCC Chairman and the Clerk to the Board
5. The Chairman's signature line date has been entered as the date of BCC approval of the JAK
document or the final negotiated contract date whichever is applicable.
6. "Sign here"tabs are placed on the appropriate pages indicating where the Chairman's JAK
signature and initials are required.
7. In most cases(some contracts are an exception),the original document and this routing slip JAK
should be provided to the County Attorney Office at the time the item is input into SIRE.
Some documents are time sensitive and require forwarding to Tallahassee within a certain
time frame or the BCC's actions are nullified. Be aware ofyour deadlines!

RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -1 01
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING CLARENCE S. TEARS,
JR., AND JOHN H. BURTON TO THE LAND ACQUISITION ADVISORY
COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 2002-63, established the Land Acquisition
Advisory Committee to assist the Board of County Commissioners in establishing an "Active
Properties Acquisition List" with qualified purchase recommendations consistent with the goals of
Conservation Collier; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2002-63, as amended, provides that this Advisory Committee
shall consist of nine members representing the broad and balanced interests of Collier County
Citizens as set forth in the Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, there are currently vacancies on this Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee has provided the Board of County
Commissioners with its recommendations for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that CLARENCE S. TEARS, JR., with
expertise in ecology, conservation, agricultural, business, land appraisal, and environmental issues,
and JOHN H. BURTON, with expertise in conservation, agricultural, business, educational, real
estate, land acquisition, and environmental issues, are hereby reappointed to the Land Acquisition
Advisory Committee to serve three-year terms, said terms to expire on February 11, 2016.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the 23rd
day of April, 2013.
