OBJECTIVE: To appoint 2 members to fill vacancies for terms that will expire on June 25, 2013, to the Black Affairs Advisory Board. CONSIDERATIONS: The Black Affairs Advisory Board has 2 terms due to resignations that will expire on June 25, 2013, This 9 member committee identifies and evaluates problems unique to the Black Community, reviews and recommends ways to ensure open communication between the minorities and Collier County Government and provides periodic reports to the Board of County Commissioners. A list of the current membership is included in the backup, Mary L. Sanders resigned April 14,2010 and Larry Wilcoxson resigned July 27,2010.
