- EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to ratify an addition, a deletion and modifications to the 2010
Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan made from April 1, 2010 through June 30,
2010.
OBJECTIVE: For the Board of County Commissioners to ratify an addition to, a deletion
from and modifications to the 2010 Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan.
CONSIDERATIONS: The Board of County Commissioners has authorized the County
Manager to make additions, modifications and deletions to the 2010 Fiscal Year Pay
and Classification Plan, subject to retroactive ratification by the Board. This occurs three
times during the fiscal year — in January, in April and in July. This is the third such
occurrence.
Attached are the modifications, an addition and a deletion to the County's 2010 Fiscal
Year Pay and Classification Plan made between April 1, 2010 and June 30, 2010
(Exhibit 1). The modifications reflect modified or new responsibilities. The addition
reflects new functions. The deletion results from a job classification that has become
obsolete.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed and approved by the County
Attorney's Office and is legally sufficient —JBW.
FISCAL IMPACT: This action will have no fiscal impact to the County
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated
with this Executive Summary.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board ratify an addition, a deletion and modifications to
the 2010 Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan.
