EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve and authorize the Chairman to execute required
documents for Marco Island Utilities to relocate a reclaimed water main that runs
through the new vehicle parking lot at the Marco Island Executive Airport.
OBJECTIVE: That the Board of County Commissioners (BCC), acting as the Airport
Authority, approve and authorize its Chairman to execute the attached "Deed of Utility
Easement" and "Utility Facilities Warranty Deed and Bill of Sale" for a master meter
assembly required for Marco Island Utilities to relocate a reclaimed water main that runs
through the new vehicle parking lot at the Marco Island Executive Airport.
CONSIDERATIONS: Phase I of the taxiway project at the Marco Island Executive
Airport includes the expansion of the North Aircraft Apron and the relocation of the
current vehicle parking lot to land acquired from the City of Marco Island as part of a
Real Estate Exchange Agreement executed on April 25, 2006, Agenda Item 16C4.
Marco Island Utilities currently has a reclaimed water main running through this land
where the new vehicle parking will be located.
Per the Real Estate Agreement with the City of Marco Island, Marco Island Utilities will
relocate this reclaimed water main at its own expense. Before Marco Island Utilities can
proceed with the relocation of this reclaimed water main, the attached Deed of Utility
Easement and Utility Facilities Warranty Deed and Bill of Sale need to be executed by
the Airport Authority and recorded with the County.
The Collier County Airport Advisory Board voted unanimously at its May 10, 2010
meeting to recommend that the BCC, acting as the Airport Authority, execute the
attached Deed of Utility and Easement and Utility Facilities Warranty Deed and Bill of
Sale required to proceed with the relocation of this reclaimed main.
FISCAL IMPACT: There is no fiscal impact associated with the Executive Summary
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management Impact
associated with the Executive Summary.
lEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed and approved by the
County Attorney's Office and is legally sufficient-JBW
RECOMMENDATION: That the BCC, acting as the Airport Authority, approve and
authorize its Chairman to execute the attached (1) Deed of Utility Easement and (2)
Utility Facilities Warranty Deed and Bill of Sale required for Marco Island Utilities to
relocate a reclaimed water main that runs through the new vehicle parking lot at the

THIS UTILITY EASEMENT (UE), is gronted and conveyed this_~day Df ~~, 2010, by tile Collier
County Airport Authority, a political subdivision of Collier County as defined in F.S. p33.0l (Grantor), to the City of Marco
Island, a Florida Municipal Corporation and Florida Political Subdivi,iun (Grantee),
WHEREAS Grantor owns the property located in Cullier County which is the suhject of this UE, mure particularly described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made part hereof; and

has full right and authority to execute and deliver this UE. l11e person or entity executing this VE on behalf of Grantor is
