EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation for the Board of County Commissioners to authorize a budget
amendment to recognize revenue for projects within the Transportation Supported Gas
Tax Fund (313) in the amount of $50,793.60.
OBJECTIVE: To obtain approval fTOm the Board of County Commissioners to authorize a
budget amendment to recognize revenue for Countywide Pathways Program" Traffic Impact
Study (TIS) Review, and Planned Unit Development (PUD) Monitoring/Traffic Counts
Payment-in-Lieu Projects within the Transportation Supported Gas Tax Fund (313) in the
amount of $50, 793.60.
CONSIDERATIONS: Funds have been collected specifically as payment-in-lieu, project
review fees, fair share payments and from the application and monitoring process. These funds
are required to be tracked and spent on proj ects for which the developments were identified for
mitigation or on consultant contracts to perform the studies on the developments behalf under
required monitoring conditions.
These funds were collected in fiscal year 2010 ,md exceeded the revenue budget. We wish to
recognize these funds and have the funds transferred into the appropriate project accounts as
follows:

FISCAL IMPACT: In fiscal year 2010, money was deposited into the Transportation
Supported Gas Tax Fund. A budget amendment is needed to recognize additional revenue and
appropriate into the correct projects in the amount of $50,793.60.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed and approved by the County
Attorney's Office and does not present a legal issue.-SRT.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management Impact associated
with this Executive Summary.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners authorize the necessary
budget amendment.
