EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve and authorize the Chairman to sign two (2) Releases of Lien and two
(2) Satisfactions of Mortgage for owner occupied affordable housing dwelling units that have
satisfied the terms of assistance provided. Fiscal impact $29,864.20.
OBJECTIVE: Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign two (2) Releases of Lien and two (2)
Satisfactions of Mortgage for owner occupied affordable housing dwelling units that have satisfied the
terms of assistance provided,
CONSIDERATIONS: Recipients of affordable housing assistance are required to repay the County
upon sale, refinance or loss of homestead exemption, Furthermore, recipients purchasing units that have
received an affordable housing density bonus incentive are rcquired to return to the County all sale
proceeds in excess of five percent (5%) appreciation per annum.
The following recipients have fulfilled the obligations of the affordable housing assistance provided by
Collier County:

assistance provide, Following approval and execution, the documents shall be recorded in the public
records of Collier County, Florida,
FISCAL IMPACT: State Housing Initiatives Partnership Program (SHIP) funds in the amount of
$21,500,00 have been repaid and are considered program income, Such funds may be reused for eligible
SHIP program activities, Impact fee deferral funds in the amount of $8,364.20 have been repaid and have
been returned to the individual impact fee trust funds as required,
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this
