EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
RECOMMENDATION: Direct the County Manager to p4ce on the BCC
Conant agenda all Internal staff interpretations of the Land Development
Code and Permit requirements that maid appear to be more reahietive.
OBJECTIVE: To provide remnable regulation to the residents ofColfier County
and have a betterunderstanding what is being asked when dealing with Collier
County Government.
CONSIDERATIONS: In the past the Public has informed the Board water heaters
replacement needs a permit, storage containers or PODS are not allowed in Golden
Gate Estates and limiting how many dogs a resident can have for peuoeal
enjoyment My opinion is that these regulations are nor needed.
However, the Board should give flexibility to the County Manager's staff to act,
^ similar to unification of change orders.
