Hispanic Community, reviews and recommends ways to ensure open communication between the
minorities and Collier County Government and provides periodic report& to the Board of County

on March 13, 2016. This 5 member committee advises the Board of County Commissioners on the
budget and related matters pertaining to the beautification Being district. Members most be residents
of Immokalee Beautification Taxing District.
The Immokalee Enterprise Zone Development Agency has I vacancy for a term to expire on April
4.2013; representing a Resident in Zone. This 13 member committee was created on March 28, 1995,
by Ordinance 95-22 to induce private investment into dis tressed areas to create economic opportunities
and sustainable economic development for designated areas. To permit Collier County to participate
in this program, the Board of County Commissioners nominated the Immokalee Community to be
considered by foe Florida Department of Commerce for Enterprise Zone desigredon in Resolution No.
95-248. approved March 28, 1995. As part of the formal application for an Enterprise Zone, the Stem
required that a committee consisting of a broad base of citizens be established. The committee has
representation from the Immokalee Chamber of Commerce, financial or insurance entities, businesses
operating within the nominated area, residents living "Ban the nominated area, nonprofit commuNty-
based organizations operating witim the nominated area, local Workforce Development Board, local
code enforcement agency, and IoW law enforcement agency. This committee also serves as the
Immokalee, Redevelopment Boom.
The Islas of Capd Fire Control District Advisory Committee has 2terms expiring on December 31,
2011 This 5 member committee advises the Board on the budget and operation of the Isles of Capri
Fire Control District. Terms am 2 years and members must reside within the boundaries of the Isles of
Capri Municipal Fire Services Taxing District.

operation of the MSTU, subject to approval by the Board of County Commissioners. Members must
reside within the MSTU which will include Sapphire Lakes, The Shores, Furse Lakes Club, Granada
Lakes Villas, Ibis Club, Madison Park, Blue Heron, Sherwood Park, Berkshire LancrForkshire Pine,
Sabel Lakes, and Plantation. Terms will be4 years.
The Vanderbilt Death Beautifintion MSlll Advisory Committee has I vacancy for a new term
That will expire on November 13, 2015, This 5 member committee was established on July 31. 2001
by Ordinance No 200143 to aid and assist the BCC in carrying out the purposes of the MSTU, to
prepare and recommend to the BCC an itemized budget for the MSTU and recommend work pmgmms
and priorities to the Cowry Manager. Members must be permanent residents within the MSTU.
Terms will be 4 years.
The Value Adjustment Board is seeking applications for one alternate citizen member. The Value
Adjustment Beard considers recommendations of the Spacial Magistrates on one petitions regarding
exemptions, classifications, assessed values, and untimely petitions for the current tax year Value
Adjustment Boom meetings are held in aecomance with the Rules of Procedure to be abroad by the
Value Adjustment Seem, administrative roles promulgated by the Florida Department of Revenue, and
applicable Florida Statutes. The citizen members must own homerteed property within Collier County
and may not be a member of or employee of a taxing authority and may not represent other property
promote in any administrative or judicial review of property taxes. The citizen members should also be
available to attend VAB meetings at the Government Center fire times during the year. Some
knowledge of real property and appraisal practice is encouraged.
The Water and Wastewater Authority has I v eaoey for a new arm that will expire on May 21,
2015; this is for a technical member. This 5 member council was established on February 27, 1996, by
Ordinance No. 96 -6 to regulate utility rates and related matters regarding non - exempt water and
wastewater utilities in wincoryomiN Collier County. Tire members shall be technical in nature,
with expertise in engineering, finance and/or business administration. The remaining 2 members shall
he appointed on the basis of individual civic pride, integrity, and experience in any area of regulation.
Members are required to file a Form I Statement of Financial Interests each year with the Supervisor
ofBleetions. The terms will be years.
The Housing Finance Authority has 1 vacancy for a new term to expire on July 24, 2015 and 2
es for new terms to expire on November 11, 2015. This 5 member authority was created by
Cowry Coinsure No. 80-66 on July 29, 1980, parsuwt to Chapter 159, Par[ IV, of the Florida
Samtes as a governmental body authorized to issue tax exempt bonds. Not less than a majority of the
embers shall be knowledgeable in one of the following fields; labor, finance or commerce. Terms
are 4 years.
