OBJECTIVE:
To grant fmal. approval of the infrastructure improvements associated with.tbat
subdivisic;m known as Calefecott.
CONSlOE~DOII:
1. On May 23, 2007, the land Development Services Department granted
preliminary acceptance of the roadway and drainage improvements in
Caldecott.
2. The roadway and drainage improvements will be maintained by the
project~shorneowners association.
3.
The required improvements have been constructed in accordance with the
Land Development Code. The land Development Services Department
has inspected the improvements and is rerommending final acceptance of
the improvements.
4. A resolution for final acceptance has been prepared and approved by the
County Attorney's Office. A copy of the document is attached.
5. This PUD (LelyResort) has been found to be in substantial compliance.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The roadway and. dratnage improvements will be maintained by the projecfs
homeowners association. The existing security in the amount of $84,352.50 will
be released upon Board approval. The original se~urity in the. amount of
$3,661,280.04 has been ~uced in accordance with the approved Construction
and Maintenance Agreement dated March 28, 2006 to the current amount of
$84,352.50 based on the previous work performed and completed.

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS:
The County Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the Resolution for legal
sufficiency. This item requires a majority vote. This item is ready for Board
consideration and approval. STW
RECOMMENDATION:
Grant final acceptance of the roadway and drainage improvements in Caldecott
and release the maintenance security.
1. Authorize the Chairman to execute the attached resolution authorizing
final acceptance.
2. Authorize the release of the maintenance security.

$449,018.68 to $84,352.50. Stock Development intends to complete the single family homes
within this community within the next twelve months, completing the sidewalk, asphalt and
striping, but based on current market conditions, Stock Development may ask for an extension
prior to the expiration of the twelve months.

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY,
FLORIDA AUTHORIZING FINAL
ACCEPTANCE OF CERTAIN ROADWAY AND
DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS IN
CALDECOTT, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT
THEREOF RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 46,
PAGES 52 THROUGH 56; RELEASE OF THE
MAINTENANCE SECURITY; AND
ACCEPTANCE OF THE MAINTENANCE
RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ROADWAY AND
DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS THAT ARE NOT
REQUIRED TO BE MAINTAINED BY THE
CALDECOTT HOMEOWNERS' ASSOCIATION,
INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida, on
June 15,2006, approved the plat of Caldecott for recording; and
WHEREAS, the Developer has constructed and maintained the roadway and
drainage improvements in accordance with the approved plans and specifications as
,-" required by the Land Development Code (Collier County Ordinance No. 04-41, as
amended); and
WHEREAS, the Developer is requesting final acceptance of the roadway and
drainage improvements and release of his maintenance security; and
WHEREAS, the Land Development Services Department has inspected the
roadway and drainage improvements, and is recommending acceptance of said facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that final acceptance is hereby
granted for those roadway and drainage improvements in Caldecott, pursuant to the plat
thereof recorded in Plat Book 46, pages 46 through 52, and the Clerk is hereby authorized
to release the maintenance security.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the roadway and drainage
improvements within Caldecott will be maintained by the Caldecott Homeowner's
Association, Inc. and will not be the responsibility of Collier County.
