The minutes of the last meeting were voted on
and approved. The Charter By-Laws will be finalized and drawn
up by the next meeting. No other comments where given on the
by-laws at this time.
CONSOLIDATION A discussion of a Financial Statement
being sent Lo the County Clerk, showed that it wac not
necessary as they are not governed by the county only the
district. No one has been notified and all is in compliance.
Main concerns were about impact fees and funding. A question
why all the fees where the same was discussed. The
commercial and residential space is estimated by a ten year
plan. This allowed everyone to be the same. The fees are
placed in a special checking account where it is earning
interest. This is a fair deal.
FIRE CODE INTERPRETER A letter to be sent to the county
manager in ref; development services. The county working plan
of four or more fire inspectors will be expensive, and they
may not be able to use in house personal already on staff
because they are in administrative positions. And at present
they are not doing inspections. We are waiting to get on the
building dept. agenda. It was agreed that we should be
incorporated prior to the employment of a code interpreter.

federal government involved? Ochopee dist. has PILT money
from land being taken by the feds, 305 thousand dollars. Main
concern how much federal land is in District One that money
